Genre: Documentary

Synopsis

Alma doble is the meeting of two souls united by tango. Gustavo Beytelmann one of the greatest living tango composers and musicians, a collaborator of Astor Piazzola and later of the Gotan Project, and Silvia Vladimiwsky a well-known Argentine choreographer.
The two artists confront each other about the past and the different life choices made during the dark period of the Argentine dictatorship: Gustavo forced to flee into exile in Paris, Silvia to Buenos Aires where she collaborated among other things at that time with the cultural resistance movement “Teatro abierto.” On the wave of emotions and memories, Silvia creates a choreography to Gustavo’s musical score.
